Rock Hill Preservation Lilly Print by Shepard Fairey

From Shepard Fairey:

My parents grew up in Rock Hill South Carolina, which is a beautiful town in rural part of the up state. I worked with my uncle Wade Fairey to create this art to benefit Historic Rock Hill preservation. The Courtney Spider Lily is a rare flower thriving in the Courtney Island section of the Catawea River. The art is designed to promote water quality on the Catawea River which has been greatly affected by run off from urban developments. This in turn has affected bird and wild life habitation. This art benefits efforts to see the Catawea remain a lovely river.
