Gallery1988: Melrose is excited to announce its highly anticipated new exhibit, a solo show from UK artist Olly Moss. Moss has quickly become the world's most sought after screenprint artist, after publishing his first print with G1988 in 2009. Only 24 years old, Olly has been commissioned by Marvel, Disney and the Alamo Drafthouse in the two years since, seeing his prints go for ten to twenty times their cost in their secondary market. Moss will be creating almost 200 one-of-a-kind pieces, available individually, but part of a larger pop culture installation that has to be seen to be believed. New screenprints will be made available the opening reception, which is May 7th, from 7-10 PM, which include his most recent prints created for director Duncan Jones for movies "Moon" and "Source Code." Olly will also be selling the only purchasable copy of his "THOR" movie poster, commissioned exclusively for cast and crew of the new film, with all proceeds going to charity. This show will run through May 20th. Interviews are available for press, but there will be no previews of this show per request of the artist. This will be a very secretive show leading up to the opening reception, so the artwork will not be online until after the show opens.
