My dad golfs but I've never been able to get into it. Maybe its something I'll appreciate when I'm older. I hope so, since I 'd love to have something like that to share with him. But at least we can both laugh at Caddyshack.

ReplyDeleteMy father is a huge fan of Robert Duvall and would love to win this for him from his only son. I took him to see Seven Days in Utopia tonight and since he's an avid golfer he thought the film was phenomenal. I have never won anything yet on your website but pray you notice my post so I can surprise the heck out of my dad compliments of you guys. Thank you!
And that one is outta there... Gavodonovan@yahoo.com.au

ReplyDeleteI'm going to give you a little advice. There's a force in the universe that makes things happen. And all you have to do is get in touch with it, stop thinking, let things happen, and be the ball.

ReplyDeleteSandy: I want you to kill every gophers on the golf course!
ReplyDeleteCarl Spackler: Correct me if I'm wrong Sandy, but if I kill all the golfers, they're gonna lock me up and throw away the key...
Sandy: Not golfers, you great fool! Gophers! The *little* *brown*, *furry* *rodents* -!
Carl Spackler: We can do that; we don't even have to have a reason. All right, let's do the same thing, but with gophers -!

This crowd has gone deadly silent... Cinderella story, out of nowhere, former greenskeeper, now about to become the Masters champion. It looks like a mirac- it's in the hole! It's in the hole!

A little message on golf turf.
ReplyDelete"This is a hybrid. This is a cross, ah, of Bluegrass, Kentucky Bluegrass, Featherbed Bent, and Northern California Sensemilia. The amazing stuff about this is, that you can play 36 holes on it in the afternoon, take it home and just get stoned to the bejeezus-belt that night on this stuff."

ReplyDeleteI'm still waiting for my 2nd hole in one. I got my first about 16 years ago. I used to play 36 holes a day 4-5 days a week during the summers in high school. I guess you cant get a hole in one if you dont play often enough, or are lucky enough.
ReplyDeleteGreat print!! I hope I win. I def dont have the funds to be buying prints right now. This is going to be worst year for taxes in my 35 year life.
Thx for the giveaway!!

At summer camp in Brooklyn when I was 14, we had golf sessions in a parking lot made of concrete. True story. Pretty ghetto.
ReplyDeleteBut we were invited to go to a practice day at the PGA Championship that year and I got to see Tiger Woods, Greg Norman, and I got Jack Nicklaus' autograph. It was probably the best summer of my life :)

Something about vamint poontang and the Dalai Lama. George Carlin once said we should convert all the golf courses into housing for the homeless, but then the question is where to put all the wealthy people.
