Aesthetic Apparatus and a number of other artists, were commissioned by Warner Brothers Records to select a musician from the label's long history to create their "dream gig poster" for that artist. And they said "Great! Can we do two?" They selected two fairly significantly different musicians, Miles Davis and Nick Cave.
