Todd Slater will have is beautiful Widespread Panic Seattle poster on sale at www.toddslater.net tomorrow at 4pm CST.
Todd on the poster
I decided to continue with environmental themes established in my first Widespread print. I wanted to comment on the destruction of forests and wild life and all the reasons we justify doing it. Cutting down a tree is the promise of something more: homes, furniture and paper along with mining, oil and roads. Lines begin to blur when destroying something pure. I created a wolf standing at the edge of a forest gazing into a world of infinite promise and possibility.
Poster size is 24 x 18 inches, 5 screens, numbered edition of 250 sold at show (artist edition of 100 signed and numbered), signed and numbered refractor holofoil edition of 35 for the March 25, 2014 at Moore Theater in Seattle, WA.
