Fighting the snow storm that dumped all over New York this week Bottleneck Gallery hosted a screening of the classic movie Fight Club and even had an official licensed poster for the event. The poster was designed by Tomer Hanuka and the brilliance of using the Supreme street wear style font just makes this poster.
BNG have been absolutely awed by Tomer’s Fight Club print since they first saw it, and they wanted to dive deeper into his thought process on creating something so visceral. Here’s what Tomer shared with them [there are spoilers for the film in the following description], “I wanted to create an image that will evoke the weight and mood of figures in Chiaroscuro, with the snake-devouring-its-own-tail syntax of a Barbara Kruger visual. Like the protagonist in the film it’s a split identity mashup, in search of poetic mayhem."
