James Eads Nickel Creek Poster Los Angeles On Sale

James Eads released a new gig poster tonight for the band Nickel Creek.

I asked James about the design:
It's inspired by their song  "21st of May", which is about the prediction of the end of time on may 21st, 2011. It depicts a little kid in rain gear playing with a toy boat version of Noah's ark at dusk in the woods with a camping scene in the background. As he starts to play with the ark, pairs of animals gather around.
"The 21st of May" is a limited edition silk screened gig poster for Nickel Creek's show at the Wiltern in Los Angeles. Printed on 18" x 24" Black Licorice paper in an edition of 155. Prints are hand signed and numbered and available for $35 at www.jamesreadsmerch.com
