James Flames created the poster for Jerry Garcia Symphonic Celebration featuring Warren Haynes. They asked that James base the artwork on the classic Grateful Dead song "Dark Star", but also keep it celebratory- so he created a scene to evoke the vibe of those lyrics, specifically:
"Shall we go, you and I?
While we can,
Through the transitive
nightfall of diamonds."
After that is James' first poster for Alabama Shakes! This artwork is inspired by the song "This Feeling" and the scene is meant to tell the story of building dreams and finding their fulfillment.
He also made a VERY limited "Lava" Holofoil for this poster, which looks pretty sick.
And finally, there are two posters James created for Ray LaMontagne, from his recent tour. The first is a scene that takes place in a secret Lemon Grove at night. Two people, along with their kitten and dog friends, breathe new life into old and broken musical instruments, by turning them into a wild sculpture.
The second Ray LaMontagne poster is the "poster version" of the "Whisper In The Woods" art print. EVERYTHING will be available, Tuesday, October 11th at 12noon Eastern over at JamesFlames.com
