Artist statement:
It’s been an absolute pleasure to work with PangeaSeed for the second time. This time the inspiration was more grounded in reality. PangeaSeed Foundation's expedition to satellite tag the first sharks in the Northern Pacific ocean is what inspired me to create this piece.

I wanted to depict both humans and sharks together, swimming in harmony united by the technological advancements. Also I included a little Easter egg in this piece… the map in the background with the dots, is based on the actual motioning data being received from the satellite tags attached to the hammerheads off the coast of Japan.

Via art, science and activism, we can help save our seas. More information on how you can support their efforts, please visit PangeaSeed.org today.
