This Thursday James Eads will be releasing the remaining prints and originals from the Night Caps collection.
Prints range in price from $20- $100 and edition sizes of 25 - 75. All prints are hand signed and embossed in the right hand corner. I'll also be releasing a small amount of mystery prints at the drop on Thursday.
Night Caps small series will be 3 different sets. Each set of seven 8" x 8" high quality giclee prints on archival paper. Prints are hand signed and numbered in a limited edition of 75 and embossed in the bottom right corner of the 1.5” white border.
There will be 5 large prints and a small number of mystery prints too. Big King Cap and His Kitty Cats print is really nice.
Night Caps
In the day they're unassuming
a litter of caps for the blooming
but then flip on the night
and on they'll light
with faces to match the pluming.
Their songs are sweet and and simple
and will calm the fangs of yearning
but beware: their bite is sharp
with poison to treat the burning.
You’ll attend all the parties
and you'll bask in illusion
but the mask soon will slip
and you’ll be in for a trip:
The crew, they’re all here
but you, I do fear
may be missing
or just part there
blissfully unaware.
So stay away from the caps when day is turning
and take the path, without the caps,
or there’s a lesson you’ll be learning.
