Be My Valentine Charlie Brown Poster from Dark Hall Mansion

Dark Hall Mansion, www.DarkHallMansion.com, is so very happy to share our officially licensed 2014 Peanuts print for Charles M. Schulz's ode to semi-unrequited love, the 1975 classic, “Be My Valentine, Charlie Brown.” On sale next Wed, February 5, 2014, at a random time between 9:30 AM PST and 11:30 AM PST and arriving just in time for that special Valentine's Day gift or just to treat yourself.

Dark Hall Mansion's guest artist for this year's "Be My Valentine, Charlie Brown" is the extremely talented Ms. Lorelay Bove, who needs little introduction aside a Googling of her name. Born in Spain and having begun her career with Pixar, she now works for the Walt Disney Animation Studios and has been involved in visual development, color characters and more on "The Princess and the Frog," as well as having worked on "Tangled," "Winnie the Pooh," and handling lead designer duties in sugar rush from "Wreck it Ralph." However, it's her striking personal artwork and brilliant line that drew us to her work, her stylish and gorgeous line work so evocative of legendary illustrator, Rene Gruau, whose work shaped high fashion, magazine covers, and film poster work.

From Lorelay:
"I loved watching old classic Hollywood films, and Disney animated cartoons when I was young, and that still reflects in my art today. I usually like to paint stories, my experiences, and my travels. I think is fun to capture the sincerity and feeling in my happenings in life and translate into my work, because it makes it more real, and the audience will connect to the art work, and that’s very fulfilling, when the audience giggles or understands it, then it makes me happy and it makes me want to experience life even more, so I can share through my paintings. Life is what inspires me."
