Dark Hall Mansion is thrilled to announce its newest officially licensed Limited Edition print release: "Jimi Hendrix" by leading contemporary artist, Tyler Stout.
Dark Hall Mansion, working with Authentic Hendrix, will release their new officially licensed Jimi Hendrix limited edition screen prints Friday, February 14, 2014.
Tyler Stout, rendering striking, multiple images of Jimi Hendrix, has captured the many moods of one of rock's greatest artists and we couldn't be prouder to bring this release to collectors. An artist near, dear, and very personal to Dark Hall Mansion, there are simply no words requisite as to Jimi's legacy, and the vision for the Jimi print was to create a piece that at once harkened back to the immediacy of rock posters any fan could purchase at their local record store in the late '60s and early '70s, while fully bringing to bear Tyler's gift of style, color, power, and above all, draftsmanship, to create something contemporary that bridges the Jimi Hendrix legacy and Tyler Stout's personal artistic vision.
With bold colors and a rich 24" x 36" layout, Tyler's vision of Jimi yielded evocative portraits amongst a swirl of era tinged graphics and Jimi's beloved axes. And for Jimi purists, know those images are spot on portraits as Tyler worked from four hand-picked images he chose from Authentic Hendrix's vast estate owned and Hendrix family controlled photographs. Oh, and also for our Jimi purists, YES, the guitars are indeed correct, Jimi rocked more than his beloved Strats.
Each screen print will be strictly numbered, measure 24″ x 36,″ and is professionally screen printed. There will be 600 Standard and 200 Variant edition prints available for all Jimi Hendrix and Tyler Stout fans worldwide, so not a piece for any fan to miss. Some portion of this edition's run will be offered by Tyler at a future date.
Collectors who purchased and took delivery of Dark Hall Mansion's SHAG or Whalen Universal Monsters folios from DHM, or our friends at eMovieposter, have a special reserve on a select number of Jimi-Stout prints and will be contacted directly by email to complete their purchases this FRIDAY EVENING, Feb 14, 2014 and have ONLY until 11:59 PM Saturday EVENING, Feb 15th, 2014 to complete their purchase. All details on completing their purchases will be enclosed in this FRIDAY EVENING email. Please do NOT send in your payment till you have received your email confirmation FRIDAY evening. Only buyers who purchased and took delivery of their SHAG and/or Whalen folios are entitled to a Jimi-Stout reserve and payment for your print must come via the same email address used when purchasing your SHAG or Whalen folio. Collectors will be notified by email from the respective site they originally purchased their folios from. No matter the venue, purchases must be completed by 11:59 PM SATURDAY Feb 15, 2014-there will be NO exceptions! Failure to complete a purchase by this time relinquishes the reserve.

If you are already entitled to, and purchasing, a Jimi print by reserve, please, do NOT send in an additional waiting list request so others have a chance at purchasing.
