Baker Prints off and on for a while at Flatstock in Chicago a couple of weeks back and got around to asking him hey would you like to do a giveaway on the blog. He said sure how about The Windy City print of Chicago. Kyle created the print in collaboration with his father Terry Baker, it's a painstakingly-crafted illustration of Chicago icons and architecture being playfully blown away. The effort, from start to finish, was easily the largest art project either of them have ever undertaken. My mouth hit the ground when he offered it and I think I said 3 or 4 times "are you sure ?". The reason I was so surprised, is that he sells these for $220 a piece and this is one serious piece of art.
The Windy City print is a massive 36 x 24 inch 16 color screen print with a signed and numbered edition of 456. It also comes with a legend that let's you know what all the places, people and things are on the print. Click the image above to enlarge it and see all the detail.
Now go to the top of the post above the picture and click on comments or scroll down (depends on how you see this post) to leave a comment what you like about Chicago to have a chance at winning the poster. Don't worry if your comment does not appear immediately I have to approve them before they are published. I will use the Random Number Generator to pick a winner.
