5 Reel Film love cinema and believe films deserve to be watched in a social environment with like-minded people and the opportunity to celebrate all you love about movies. Their screenings offer an exciting alternative atmosphere in which to watch your favorite films , along with the opportunity to acquire some exclusive art by seriously talented up and coming artists. Each screening is a bit different so expect some surprises along the way. They were sick of playing second fiddle to the Americans and decided to bring the scene to the great people of Britain instead!
They're aiming to host a screening with a poster each month – next one will be on the 30th June and they'll be announcing the film and artist for that one very soon!
For their first release they got UK artist Joe Wilson to create a brilliant poster for the classic movie Trainspotting. This is a 4 color screen print, limited to an edition of 80, the size is A2.
The print is officially licensed by Film4 and producer of Trainspotting Andrew Macdonald.
The Trainspotting poster will be going up for sale Wednesday 5th June at 20.00 GMT at 5reelfilm.bigcartel.com
