Niark1, whom’s real name is Sebastien Feraut, is one of those artists with multiple fields of investigation, who is, as result present everywhere. And this is for the best as we keep on asking for more. Niark1 ‘s style can be described by an hijacking of moral codes and values, where conventions lose their place, where craziness takes it all. Standards of different cultures are re-interpreted with audacity by the artist. And it all makes sense.
The characters influenced by cartoons are disfigured or rather transfigured, but the comic inflences always prevail, and to which Niark1 adds a touch of burlesque and surrealism.
