I say it all the time, Dan Macadam of Crosshair Design is an amazing printer. Seeing his work in person you would swear it's a photo, but it's not it is a silk screen poster. So it's always an education in the finer points of print making when you meet him and you should take the time at Flatstock or wherever to talk to him. So I'm always excited when I get the chance to giveaway his work and spread the word about his skills

Rob Schwager KAPOW Print Release Details

I can remember when I was a kid, that I used to run home from school to watch my favorite TV shows. You know, super hero stuff, LOTS of cartoons, the 3:30 afternoon movie, etc… All were fodder for my overactive imagination. I'd tie a towel around my neck and suddenly, I WAS a super hero! Jumping off the couch and fighting imaginary bad guys!

Thankfully, due to the classic reruns on cable TV, children are able to enjoy the exact same shows I watched, as corny as they might be by today's standards. I can see that same pattern happening with them. The costumes they get for Halloween, aren't just limited to that one sugar-packed day.

This is the first print in a new series focusing on Rob Schwager's favorite television shows that he watched as a child. The series is dedicated to those TV programs which shaped the person he is today, in so many ways.

There will be no set release dates, or pre-determined line-up, although he currently have plans for six more after this print.

Ferg Playge ICE SQUBE Release Details

It has been over a year since Ferg released a Sqaube, but this Monday the wait is over. Already nicknamed the "Heisenberg Sqube" by fans, due to the crystal clear blue color that evokes the Breaking Bad TV show. Measuring 4x4x4 and made of ABS plastic with an edition of only 200 this will go fast.

Tears of Amethyst Print by Godmachine On Sale

Godmachine has created another beautiful new print and it's on sale now. Amethyst was a young girl who became the victim of a drunk Dionysus, when she called out to the goddess Diana she was turned into white shining stone (quartz). Dionysus, realizing what he had done cried with remorse into his wine goblet and it spilled seeping into the white stone of Amethyst making it purple in color, as we know it today.

GWAR Toronto Poster by Miles Tsang On Sale

As of this writing, Gwar have been the prototypical boundary-pushing shock-rock act of America for 28 years, mixing the best parts of hard rock and thrash metal with wild antagonistic performances.

Miles Tsang has created a new poster for them. They tore through Toronto the other night and Miles had the pleasure of doing the poster.

Ian Millard Colorado Pride III Release Details

This Friday November 30th IansPrints.com will release the third piece in the Colorado Pride series. Colorado Pride 1 was created in 2008, Colorado Pride 2 in 2010 and finally Colorado Pride 3 in 2012. "The original was for a cult movie show back a couple months ago and the original drawing has been sold. It's done in graphite and acrylic. I really wanted to do something referencing A Clockwork Orange but in a little more subtle light. My favorite thing about that movie is the milk bar so I based the drawing after the women mannequins along with the hallucinogenic milk they drink From start to finish this piece probably took around 30+ hours.  Alice Cooper ROCKED the house! It was such a great show – I mean really exceptionally great – and it was very good to see so many good friends at the Warfield tonight. Alice Cooper not only is a great songwriter and showman, but quite the swordsman, popping balloons and whipping people’s hats off with a toss of his blade. I designed this poster for Alice Cooper’s “Raise the Dead” Show show with one of my Evil Masonic Zombie Shriners in the guise of Death wielding his dreaded Scythe. Weaving throughout my design is an intricate custom “Alice Cooper” wallpaper pattern shown above.

Beyond The Permafrost print by John Baizley Release Details

One of a kind portfolio containing two bonus prints. Each portfolio is a two color screenprint on French paper which has been treated with bleach and ink.

Burlesque of North America will be releasing their newest print from John Baizley, Beyond The Permafrost, on Tuesday December 4th. The print will hit their online store at 2:00pm Central time. Based on his artwork for metal band Skeletonwitch's 2007 album of the same name, Permafrost began as one of John Baizley's elaborate watercolor paintings. They broke down the artwork and built it back up as a 13 color screenprint topped with a layer of gloss varnish, proudly produced by Wes Winship and Ben LaFond.
