Time to release another One Year of Batman official Warner / DC Comics limited screen print ! French Paper Art Club and Geek-Art collaborated again with Texan and Austin based artist Tim Doyle, this time to redesign another iconic DC cover. Tim choose to work on the well known Detective Comics number 31 cover, from September, 1939. In this issue, the Batman leaves Gotham City to fight the mysterious Monk, who kidnapped Julie Madison, his fiancee as Bruce Wayne. This crazy pursuit leads Batman from Gotham City to Paris and to Hungary. He will fight the Monk, but also a giant gorilla ! He also uses his Batgyro, and uses his newest weapon, the now famous batarang. Tim Doyle did a brilliant job on this one, Tim's Nakatomi studio did the printing of course... It will come in two versions : one regular as a 5 colors screen print, and one variant as a gorgeous metallic screen print.
